| Briarcliff is home of the
NKCSD
eMINTS
Program. Each eMINTS
room (3rd and 4th grade) is equipped with new high-tech
Smartboard,
scanner, digital camera, and enough wireless laptops for every two
students. Additional
Smartboards
have been placed in the Media Center, SAGE, ELL, and 5th grade rooms. There are over 150 networked computers available for Staff and Students to use at Briarcliff Elementary. Briarcliff's 30 unit computer lab has many educational software programs to enhance each grades curriculum guide lines. The Media Center has twelve computers for research purposes plus Smartboard, digital cameras, and LCD projector for checkout. In addition, each classroom is equipped with the newest computer and software technology for both Staff and Students. A fiber-optic network completed in 2000 provides faster e-mail service and speedier Internet access. A digital telephone system installed at the same time places telephones in every classroom, faxes at every educational site, and voice mail for all district personnel.
