Please become part of the birthday book program at Lakewood this year. Your child may bring in $8.00 on his/her
birthday or “half birthday” to select a brand new book for our library. A distinctive label will be placed inside
the front cover of the book identifying it as a book that has been
dedicated. He or she will have the
opportunity to be the very first person to check out this book from the
library to share with you at home.
Children donating birthday books will have their picture displayed on
a birthday bulletin board.
If you would like to support the Media
Center by participating in the
Birthday Book Program, please send a note and cash (preferable) or a check
(payable to Lakewood Elementary) to the Media Center.
