Teacher will demonstrate the
correct way to save work created on the computer.
Students come and practice saving on the SmartBoard.
Step 3:
Teacher shows the students
how to open SmartNotebook. Show them how to click on the
pen to draw or write, click on the A to type and the
arrow to drag and drop items.
Step 4:
Students work in pairs to
draw a self portrait using SmartNotebook. Complete the
SmartNotebook Self-Portrait Planning Sheet before
beginning. Type your first name under the self portrait
and one complete sentence telling about yourself.
Step 5:
Students save their work in a
folder labeled SmartNotebook Portraits.
Once the students save their
completed project.....cut & paste their self-portraits,
name and sentence onto your class webpage. This is
a secure way to include your class individually on the
class website. Link it "meet our class."
