About Me

I was born and raised in Mexico, MO. Most of my family still lives there. My husband, Rob, and I have been married for 10 years. Rob is in the Air National Guard, he gets the opportunity to travel all over the world. We travel together as much as we can. Rob works full time at the base in St. Joseph. We love exploring and seeing new places together!

Our son, Lucas was born on October 2, 2009. He is a handsome little guy and we love him so much!! I love being a mom. :)

My sister Ash and my niece Emma live in Kansas City. I love to spend a lot of time with them and love watching Emma grow up!

I graduated from Park University in 2004 and finished my masters degree in December 2006 from Webster. This year is my seveth year teaching. I taught 5th grade here at Topping my first two years, I taught 2nd grade for 3 years and this is my third year teaching 3rd grade.

In my free time (if I have any!) I love to scrapbook, mostly online now, and try other crafty things like quilting. I live out in the country so we have quite a few cats that live outside. We have 5 at the moment; Darcy, Daisy, Mooch, Shadow and Chubbs.

My favorite thing to do is teach! I love building relationships with my students and getting to know their families too! I look forward to a great school year!
