Career Highlights:   I have enjoyed eleven years of teaching. Eight of those years were in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. For the past three years, I have been a proud member of the Clardy team. I taught fifth grade for seven years and a 4th/5th grade split my last year at KCMO.  At Clardy I taught a 3rd/4th grade split and am currently teaching fourth grade.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading various types of novels which range from children's literature to adult fiction. When I read nonfiction book, I prefer to read the children's books. I enjoy writing and keep various journals with many unfinished entries. I managed to complete one story titled The Boy who Saved Recess. I have yet to look into publishing the book, though. Other hobbies include watching various crime scene shows, sleeping late, hanging out with friends and family, and cake decorating on rare occasion. I love most kinds of sports but am especially loyal to our "boys in blue", the Royals.
