Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

·         This will be the last newsletter of the year.  It is hard to believe that the school year is just about over.

·         We would like to thank all parents and guardians for making this year a successful first grade year. We truly do appreciate your support you have given us and your child.   Way to Go!

·         Friday, May 25th is our last day.  School will let out at 12 noon.  Please make sure your child has his/her backpack because we usually have a lot of things to send home.

·         We will be walking to Penguin Park on Thursday, May 24th as our final reward for turning in 100,000 Leopards.  Please make sure your child has on tennis shoes so he/she can play on the equipment.

·         If your child is attending summer school, please send his/her school box with him/her.

·         If your family is planning on attending the First Grade End of the Year Celebration, please let Jeannie Ray know.  There is a $3.00 cover for each person attending the celebration.  Please send cash only.  It should be a lot of fun and a great way to end the school year.

·         Book Club---  Miss Butler---250 Books-Adaline Verren

·         PBS News-Miss Masin’s class has earned 183 SHOWs and 10 CHOWs. 

                  Mrs. Butler’s class has earned 208 SHOWs and 14 CHOWs.
