In fourth grade at West Englewood, we work together to provide instruction to our students.  Each teacher prepares instruction in a different curriculum area to deliver to all fourth graders.  Ms. Barron focuses on our math curriculum and teaches math using the Investigations math series.  Mr. Adamson delivers both social studies and science instruction and uses many hands-on projects and activities as well as engaging topics to teach fourth grade objectives.  Mrs. Woods teaches communication arts using the Read 180 program and a guided reading approach to literacy.  Writing is developed and assessed by all three fourth grade teachers.  Your fourth grade student will most likely have all three teachers throughout the day even though they are assigned to a specific home room teacher.
